Head of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) Sherief Seif al-Dien received on Monday chief technical advisor (CTA) to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Arkan al-Sablany, and Director of the Program Office in Cairo, Randa Abulhassan.
The ACA Chief started the meeting by welcoming attendees, pointing out to the joint cooperation between the Authority and the United Nations Development Program in the field exchanging experiences, the most important of which is the prevention and control of corruption and the promotion of mechanisms of integrity and transparency.
For his part, the head of the technical advisors of the program thanked the Administrative Control Authority for the visit, pointing out that the visit of the Authority is a reason to be proud and that benefiting from the expertise of the Authority in the field of combating corruption is important because there is a constant development in the methods of corruption in the world, especially in the light of the review of the national strategy against corruption, and adoption of the system to be implemented in ministries and govornorates.
He also talked about the mechanisms for holding the ministerial conference of the Arab network for the promotion of integrity and combating corruption in the Arab countries, which is scheduled to be held in Kuwait next October.
In his speech, the minister pointed out to the visions on the ideas related to the development of ways to prevent corruption, and to provide all aspects of support and cooperation with the organization especially in the fields of training, that can benefit from the role played by the National Academy for Fighting Corruption, especially that the Academy has a prominent regional role in the field of expertise.
He also invited them to attend the African Forum of Anti-Corruption Bodies in African countries to be held during the coming period in Sharm El-Sheikh.
