Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting Sunday with Vice President of Huawei Technologies Co. Li Jie and the company’s Regional head in North Africa Robinson Cao, with the presence of CEO of Huawei Egypt Vincent Sun and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat.
During the meeting، the Prime Minister praised the high level of cooperation between Egypt and China، to which President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi pays great attention in order to benefit from the development experiences there.
Madbouly also called on Huawei officials to make use of the positive climate of cooperation and boost its investments in Egypt، especially in the technology of smart cities field.
For his part، Huawei’s vice president stressed the company’s growing interest in the Egyptian market، noting the company’s keenness to flexibly meet the Egyptians needs and contribute as best as possible to the development of Egypt.
He pointed out to the company’s interest in training youth in order to create new generation of trained and qualified cadres around the world، stressing Huawei’s readiness to increase its cooperation to support the efforts of the government and the private sector in all areas of technological development.
