President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi kicks off a European tour on Monday including Belarus and Romania.
Presidential spokesman Ambassador Bassam Rady said the President is set to have discussions on the overall bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them during a meeting with the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, as well as with the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Belarus.
Rady said that the President’s visit to Minsk is scheduled to witness the signing of a number of agreements in various fields of bilateral cooperation.
President El-Sisi will then head to the Romanian capital of Bucharest, where he will hold talks with Romanian president Klaus Iohannis, Rady noted.
The spokesman pointed out that the President is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, as he will shed light on the cultural and civilizational relations between Egypt and Romania, efforts to develop the higher education system and scientific research in Egypt.
Earlier, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi laid a wreath at the memorial in the Belarusian capital of Minsk.
