Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said that the National Youth Conferences have become an interactive “high-level” platform for direct communication between the leadership of the state and all the Egyptian people, especially the youth category, which represents more than half of Egypt’s population.
Ambassador Bassam Radi, in special statements to the Middle East News Agency, on Wednesday, said that these conferences have developed new rules for the mechanism of dialogue with young people on all issues, whether economic, political, social, development, and others. He added that many ideas and initiatives of youth through those Conferences have been translated into recommendations that have already been translated into realistic activities and practices with presidential directives.
He added that the youth conferences have echoed the local level of development to organize a global version hosted by Egypt annually under the name of “World Youth Forum”, which was praised by the International Human Rights Council through its resolution issued in (Geneva) last July entitled “Youth and Human Rights”, which included Commending the Egyptian efforts in organizing that international forum and its valuable contributions in this field.
The remarks came on the occasion of the “eighth edition” of the National Youth Conference, which will be hosted by the “lighthouse” Convention Center next Saturday under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
