The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in Egypt will cooperate for the first time with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education in November to organise an annual technical employment forum.
The French CCI in Egypt was set up in 1992 and has 640 members. Most of them are representatives of Egyptian companies in industry, trade and services, as well as representatives of French companies based in Egypt.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the French CCI said that the forum aims to reduce the unemployment rate in Egypt.
The forum will bring together around 30 local, French and multinational companies operating in Egypt to make it possible for graduates of technical institutes and young job seekers to start their professional life at several factories and companies.
