Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization General Abdel Moneim El-Terras received on Sunday Chadian Minister of Defense and Security Mohamed Aba Ali Salah.
The Chadian Minister, who is currently on an official visit to Egypt, was accompanied by a high-level security delegation from his senior aides, in the presence of Chad’s ambassador in Cairo Al-Amin Al-Doudou Abdullah.
The visit comes in light of Egypt’s strategy to aid and cooperate with African brotherly countries upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to open new horizons of cooperation and integration, in addition to achieve the hopes and aspirations of African people.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation in the fields defense and security industries as well as methods of strengthening them.
Moreover, the meeting also discussed ways of benefiting from the advanced capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to meet the needs of development projects in Chad.
General Aba Ali Salah affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt as a leading country in the African continent within the light of its presidency of the African Union.
The Chadian official also praised Egypt’s development renaissance and its unprecedented steps for digital transformation, hailing President El-Sisi’s initiative to support the Egyptian-African partnership in all areas of development.
For his part, General el-Terrace indicated that the visit reflects the depth of ties between Egypt and all African countries, based on the principles of the Egyptian foreign policy that is keen on the importance of cooperation between the countries of the continent.
