The agenda of the 3rd edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF) taking place in Sharm El Sheikh on December 14-17 was released on Tuesday indicating that the conference will consist of 16 panels discussions.
There are seven sessions on technology, three sessions on the Mediterranean, two sessions on Africa, one session on women, one session on climate change, one session on peace and security, and one session on arts. The following are the details, the date and time of each panel discussion.
Prospects of Sustainable Development in Africa: Opportunities & Challenges
The session displays opportunities to accomplish continental integration projects, and the impediments facing that goal. Panelists will also tackle challenges to development in Africa, development and post-conflict reconstruction, and Africa youth empowerment mechanisms to achieve sustainable development on the continent. The session will be held on Monday, December 16 at 12:30 p.m.
Food Security in Africa: How Do We Achieve the 2nd Goal of the Sustainable Development Goals
The session discusses food security as a cornerstone for sustainable economic growth shedding light on nutritional behavior, obstacles crippling accomplishment of food security, nutrition improvement, reinforcement of sustainable agriculture, and implications of conflicts, climate change and water scarcity on food security. The session will be held on Sunday, December 15 at 12:30 p.m.
